We're a distribution company for high-end children's, ladies' and men's clothing, specializing in children's. We work with manufacturers overseas who produce for us blank clothing and we then sell to such companies as Disney and Universal. Well, my wife's name is Mona and I put that together with my initials, A and G.I worked in the apparel and clothing business for many years and decided I wanted to do something with distribution and the supply chain. Right now, August and September, for instance, is our peak period because of back-to-school sales. The growth is one of the reasons we've opened our second distribution center in Farmington. Now we have two, one here in Victor and one there, right off the Thruway exit for Canandaigua.
I went to Rochester Institute of Technology for undergraduate and got my MBA from the University of Rochester.Most of the people have fascinations for brand electronic items. Even in late 80's any wholesale electronics product of Sony or Panasonic meant that it was from Japan. But now productions of the most of the brand items are outsourced to China in order to reduce costs. My first jobs in the business were in this area. We love Rochester for the quality of life. There's no reason to move.We were founded in 2002. The clothing market is tough. But we've become known and have established a good client base.The quality of our material, the fabric, the finish ¡ª people want T-shirts, but they want well-made T-shirts.
